Medical Director

Austin Davis, MD is an Assistant Professor in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and the Director of Brain Injury Medicine in the Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation at the University of New Mexico. Dr. Davis has a background in electrical engineering, completed medical school at Northwestern in Chicago, followed by residency and fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He views working with an interdisciplinary team in brain injury medicine as an extraordinary opportunity to advocate, work, and learn. He is passionate about improving access to high quality care and feels fortunate to work with like-minded individuals in an organization like NeuRoads NM as part of that effort.
